About Capital Edge HR
Capital Edge HR supports founders, managing directors, investors and leadership teams during acquisition, integration, restructuring and investor-backed change.
We work where people, leadership and operating model issues can put deal value at risk.
Not because the strategy is wrong, but because the business may not yet have the structure, accountability or leadership capacity to deliver it.
We focus on the points where value is most exposed:
- before a deal, when execution risk needs to be understood
- after completion, when leadership, structure and accountability need to hold
- during integration, restructuring or organisational reset
- when founder or key-person dependency creates commercial risk
The focus is simple: helping businesses protect value, strengthen execution and move through change with clearer ownership and control.
What We Focus On
- People and execution risk in M&A and transactions
- Key-person dependency
- Integration readiness and post-deal execution
- Restructuring, organisational reset and operating model change
- Leadership clarity, decision ownership and accountability
- Management capability and performance discipline
Why clients work with Capital Edge HR
Deals do not fail only because the numbers are wrong. Value leaks when leadership is stretched, decisions slow down, accountability is unclear and the organisation cannot execute the plan behind the transaction.
Capital Edge HR brings a calm, commercial view of what is really happening inside the business, what needs to change and where leadership teams need sharper control.
We help clients identify the people and execution risks that sit beneath the surface and build the structure, accountability and leadership discipline needed to protect value.
About the Founder
Marie Proctor – Founder, Capital Edge HR
Marie has worked inside growing, restructuring and investor-backed businesses where people, leadership and operating model decisions directly affect performance.
Her experience spans organisational design, workforce restructuring, acquisition integration, leadership accountability and people risk management across complex, multi-site and operational environments.
She has worked through acquisitions, integrations and business change where the challenge is not only the transaction itself, but whether the organisation can deliver the plan behind it.
Her work focuses on where value is most at risk: leadership capacity, key-person dependency, unclear ownership, weak management accountability, integration readiness and people risk beneath the surface of a deal.
Clients bring Marie in when the transaction, restructuring plan or growth strategy makes sense, but the organisation needs to be ready to deliver it.
Marie brings a direct, calm and commercially focused view of what is really happening, what needs to change and where stronger ownership, accountability and structure are needed to protect value.
